A four-session course that supports sentence-bank creation so your child can achieve higher marks in the English 11+ exam. Delivered online.

Sessions 1–2: children create their own sentence bank, built with ambitious vocabulary and complex grammatical structures. It becomes part of their exam toolkit.

Sessions 3–4: children learn how to access and apply the toolkit against a given exam question. Ambitious grammar and vocabulary choices are modelled throughout the writing process.

After the final session, writing is marked and individual targets for development are set.

Pricing covers the marking of three papers provided by Blossoming Mind, with structured written feedback.

The feedback method is deliberately structured, so before your child completes each paper we ask you to follow the guidance given. That lets us assess their ability accurately and identify gaps in both learning and technique.

Feedback is given on the correct answers too, so the most appropriate technique is adopted whether the question was answered rightly or wrongly. Papers are assessed turn by turn — feedback from earlier papers can be applied to the next.

For self-sourced papers, pricing stays the same if answer sheets are provided. Without answer sheets, pricing covers two papers instead of three.

Three English papers marked to the same standard as in-class work, each returned with a ten-minute Zoom feedback session that focuses on technique, accuracy and the next step. Bespoke variations available on request.
